Post Malone Fans Are Just Learning About Ozzy, and They're HYPED

Pop fans have been getting a crash course in heavy metal recently. We learned some Taylor Swift fans just discovered Tool, thanks to Maynard James Keenan and company beating Swift in album sales this week.

Well now, some Post Malone fans are learning about Ozzy Osbourne for the first time.

Thanks to a new collaboration with Post Malone and Travis Scott, the Prince of Darkness is reaching a new fanbase.

And naturally, when Millenials and Gen Z'ers learn something, they HAVE to let everyone know on Twitter.

Most of them were very excited about the blossoming career of this Ozzy Osbourne guy.

Check out some Twitter screen caps below:

It is important to point out that these fans probably are likely a very loud minority of Post Malone followers that haven't heard of Ozzy, but that doesn't make it any less amusing.

Hear the collaboration below, titled Take What You Want:

According to Post Malone, Osbourne really enjoyed the collaborating, telling one media outlet:

"We talked and it was like a big deal. Yeah. Ozzy Osbourne. I think he crushed it. I mean he was talking to [the producer] and he was telling me [Ozzy] was like this, ‘Yo, this is my favorite that I’ve done since you know, Sabbath and since I started my own, own way.’ I was like, ‘That’s huge.’ I’m like honored. Thank you very much.”

If true, that's a huge credit to Malone.

Ozzy plans to tour next year after postponing the No More Tours 2 due to illness and injury.
