Jelly Roll teamed up with Dunkin' for National Donut Day. He did an ad where he talks about his nickname, and how he got it because he loves donuts so much. He also shows off a few donut-dunking styles...
They also announced some new merch, including a pink hoodie with the word "JELLY" on the front.
In honor of National Donut Day, a lot of places have deals
Krispy Kreme is handing out free donuts, no questions asked.
Dunkin' has a deal too, but you have to buy coffee or some other beverage. Purchase a drink, and you get one "classic" donut for free. That includes things like glazed, chocolate frosted, and jelly donuts. Just no specialty items.
A lot of the smaller chains have deals as well. And the Salvation Army has free donuts in a lot of cities too. They started National Donut Day in 1938 as a fundraising thing to honor their "Donut Lassies" who handed them out to soldiers in World War One.
