The long and highly-anticipated search for a drummer to follow in Taylor Hawkins’ footsteps is over!
Foo Fighters named Josh Freese as their new drummer on their livestream event over the weekend.
Leading up to the introduction of Freese during the intimate show, presented in black and white, three other well-known drummers playfully entered the room, teasing that maybe they would be the one to follow in Hawkins’ footsteps.
Freese has performed Guns ‘N Roses, Nine Inch Nails, and Paramore among others and was a part of Foo’s recent tribute show to the late Hawkins.
