Dave Grohl Launches A Second Effort To Feed Homeless

On February 22nd, Dave Grohl spent more than 24 hours cooking meals for nearly 500 people experiencing homelessness, all during a major winter storm that was hitting Southern California. Grohl and his friends showed up with his barbecue smokers, ready to cook for the Hope the Mission shelters.

According to Grace Ancheta, director of development for Hope the Mission, Dave provided all the food, which he then spent more than 24 hours cooking in the middle of the storm.

In response to the snow and rain storms that recently hit Los Angeles, Dave Grohl is at it once again, joining “Feed The Streets LA” to give meals to almost 3500 homeless this month.
