ALEX MURDAUGH GUILTY OF MURDER AND OJ CHIMED IN.
South Carolina lawyer Alex Murdaugh has been found guilty of the brutal murders of his wife, Maggie Murdaugh, and their son, Paul Murdaugh, at their rural estate in 2021.
The trial lasted for six weeks, but the jury needed less than three hours to reach a verdict. Murtaugh, the fourth generation of an influential South Carolina family, was revealed during the trial to be living a secret life in which he stole millions from his clients and his law firm and fed a spiraling opioid habit. He will be sentenced today.
