Foo Fighters’ Chris Shiflett Debuts Solo Single

Foo Fighters’ guitarist Chris Shiflett has made it his mission to fuse rock and country on his terms. The rocker recently recruited country stars Jaren Johnston and John Osborne to collaborate on a fresh song. The result is a newly-released single “Black Top White Lines.”

The single is the first sample of an unnamed album due out from Shiflett later this year. "A big part of my inspiration to work with Jaren on this record was because I knew he'd push me out of my comfort zone into new territory," admitted Shiflett.

And indeed, “Black Top White Lines” is the latest in the Foo Fighters rocker’s efforts to combine “SoCal rock” with “Nashville influences.” You can check out the single below.
