David Draiman from Disturbed shaved his head and got his double labret chin piercing when he got a record deal, in order to create an "original" look that nobody else had.
He got his double labret chin piercings to be original and have something that no one else had. But he ditched them back in 2018 because he didn't want to look like a "45-year-old Hot Topic kid."
In an interview with "Revolver", he said, quote, "It took [my parents] a while before they saw it and my mom cried. They were not happy."
But he ditched the piercings in 2018. In a past interview with a German media outlet, he said they were a pain in the butt and he didn't want to look like a, quote, "45-year-old Hot Topic kid."
