George Floyd's Daughter Is Preparing to Sue Kanye West for $250 Million
The mother of George Floyd's daughter is suing Kanye West on her behalf for $250 million. Among Kanye's other ridiculous statements, he's been claiming Floyd was killed by fentanyl, NOT police brutality.
If you haven't been paying attention to Kanye West lately, well, first of all, I APPLAUD YOU. But it's probably worth noting that in addition to the Jews, he's also made a target out of George Floyd in recent days.
Kanye has come to believe that Floyd did NOT die from police officer Derek Chauvin's knee being on his neck for more than eight minutes.
In fact, he claims Chauvin's knee was never on Floyd's neck in the first place. Instead, he thinks Floyd was killed by fentanyl.
Well, the mother of Floyd's daughter Gianna is planning to sue Kanye on her behalf, for harassment, misappropriation, defamation, and infliction of emotional distress. And she wants $250 million in damages.
Their attorneys sent Kanye a cease-and-desist letter saying, quote, "Mr. Floyd’s cause of death is well-settled through evidence presented in courts of law during the criminal and civil trials that were the result of his untimely and horrific death."
"Nevertheless, you have maliciously made statements that are inaccurate and unfounded, causing damage to Mr. Floyd's estate and his family."
Other members of Floyd's family may file lawsuits of their own.
