Is a new on campus stadium for USF coming?
USF officials have accepted bids for a new 35,000 person stadium for the USF Bulls.
While no decisions have been made the talks are underway to possibly bring the venue to life.
USF administrators have said they would like to open the stadium in 2026. They have not yet provided a budget for the building or detailed how it will be paid for. That’s one reason why they’re requesting proposals through invitations to negotiate — so they could get a better read on potential costs of a 35,000-seat stadium.
