Report: Zack De La Rocha Has Torn ACL

Rage Against The Machine's Zack De La Rocha is suffering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his left knee, according to reports. The injury allegedly happened during the band's concert in Chicago on July 11th, and it has forced De La Rocha to perform sitting down and be carried on and off stage each night by stagehands.

Rage Against The Machine has not officially commented on De La Rocha's injury, however acclaimed photographer Glen E. Friedmanrevealed via an Instagram post on Friday (August 12th) that a torn ACL is the reason for Zack's inability to move around the stage, according to blabbermouth.net.

Last week, the band canceled the August and September 2022 European leg of their tour so De La Rocha can heal. They wrapped up their U.S. tour last night (Sunday, August 14th) at Madison Square Garden in NYC.
