Halestorm's Lzzy Hale has come out as bisexual in a post on Wednesday (June 15th) on Instagram in celebration of Pride Month. Hale wrote that she is "unapologetically bisexual" as well as admitting she hid her "bisexuality for a long time."
Hale decided to take this opportunity to reveal the news on her own to control the narrative. She wrote, "I've been approached by many outlets this month talking about pride … but I'm deciding to post this …straight from this lil bi – horses mouth . . ."
Hale has been in a romantic relationship with Halestorm's guitar player Joe Hottinger for almost 20 years.
