You can't believe everything you see online, and ESPECIALLY not on TikTok: A woman from Florida named Olivia Garcia is going viral after she made her family do a big detour during a road trip through North Carolina recently.
She saw a TikTok video that supposedly showed some amazing mountains in a Charlotte suburb called Gastonia. So they drove an hour out of their way to check it out. But when they got there, it was just a normal town with gas stations, strip malls, and NO mountains.
It turns out the video she saw was by a guy who likes posting FAKE location videos and calls them "NOT Carolina" videos. The one Olivia saw said he was in Gastonia . . . but the footage was actually shot while driving through the SWISS ALPS. She says her family ragged on her for not googling it before they went.
