TV Reporter Is Hit By An SUV During Live Broadcast, But Gets Up And Finishes Her Report

Some people really cope with physical discomfort better than others.

A reporter for WSAZ-TV in West Virginia was hit by a car during a live broadcast on Wednesday (January 19th). She quickly assured viewers she was OK before standing up and finishing her report.

Video of the incident shows Tori Yorgey, looking into the camera as anchor Tim Irr introduces her report on a split screen about a water main break in Dunbar. Yorgey nods and is about to speak when she is struck from behind by an SUV that sends her flying into the camera and onto the floor. After assuring the anchor and viewers that she was ok, she even assured the driver who hit her that there was no problem, calling her “sweet” for her concern.

The video is sparking outrage on twitter over the fact that she was out there alone with nobody to monitor her surroundings while she was reporting.
