After nearly 20 years and hundreds and hundreds of shows the iconic Orpheum is moving!
The Iconic Tampa Venue "The Orpheum" has announced this week via facebook that, after nearly, 20 years they will be closing their doors in Ybor City. The owners said that they are looking to move into a new space in the spring, but said that The Orpheum will no longer be a part of Ybor City.
"It is with this feeling of gratitude that Dave and I must announce. The Orpheum will no longer be a part of Ybor City. We will not be renewing our lease on 7th Avenue. After 20 years and thousands of shows The Orpheum will be bidding you all a fond farewell. We plan on moving into a new space in the Spring."
There are shows scheduled up until Sat. May 21st when the Frontline Assembly takes the stage before taking a few months off before the final show hosting The Mission UK on Sept. 13th.
