Walking around with alcoholic drinks in John's Pass is a no-no. If busted, you could be fined or even arrested, but if this new proposal passes, that would change.
The ordinance will make most of John’s Pass Village a wet zone except for Gulf Blvd. and Pelican Lane. The proposal still has to go through a formal reading and vote before it’s approved.
