Las Vegas Police Arrest Man Who Breached Airport Security Claiming He Wanted To Steal A Jet So He Could Get To Area 51
He just wanted to prove the existence of aliens from another planet. A man who told police he wanted to steal a jet so he could fly to Area 51 to look at aliens was arrested December 8th after he drove through fences at the McCarran International Airport in a limo, parked on an aircraft ramp, and made a bomb threat.
The Las Vegas Metro Police Department says the suspect was wearing a clown mask, and the man fled after making the bomb threat, but they were able to stop the vehicle and immediately detain the man. During the incident, the suspect nearly crashed into several planes, disrupted air traffic, and prompted a major response by Las Vegas police and the FBI, police stated in the report.
