Substitute Teacher Shows Up To Class with Karaoke Machine & Sang Britney

A substitute teacher in Texas is going viral after he showed up to a high school in Austin with a KARAOKE machine on Friday, and sang BRITNEY.

There's a video of him rocking the Britney Spears song "Toxic" from behind his desk while all the kids sit quietly and listen.

It's not clear if he let the kids use it too, or was just singing for them while they studied. But his karaoke machine had a disco ball on it shooting lights all over the room. So it was quite a party atmosphere.

A local news station made fun of him and joked that he was so bad, they had a hard time recognizing the song. But he wasn't REALLY that bad . . . he's actually pretty good.

Even a rep from the school district seemed to agree. They said they've, quote, "heard worse Britney Spears covers," but that the lights were a bit much.

The school probably found out because it was so loud, other teachers could hear. They had him leave early for not following guidelines, and said he's been "relieved of his duties." It's not clear if he'll be allowed back in the future.
