Several species of Sharks from Sarasota Bay are flocking to the canals and waterways of some Longboat Key neighborhoods in an attempt to get away from red tide. It is also happening in some areas of Pinellas County as well. Biologists are saying It's not the best conditions for those sharks, but with red tide, that's probably the only safe place for them right now. The sharks should move on after a few days but coastal residents need to at least be aware.
