Web Designer Names His Son HTML In Honor Of His Profession

A child living in the Philippines has gone viral due to the unique name his parents gave him: Hypertext Mark-up Language Rayo Pascual, or HTML for short, was given the name by his dad—Mac Pascual—who is a web developer.

He told the news site inquirer.net that the uncommon names run in his family, and that his own name is short for Macaroni 85. He added that one of his sisters’ official names was Spaghetti 88 and claimed her two children are named Cheese Pimento and Parmesan Cheese.

HTML was born healthy, and his aunt, named Sincerely Yours Pascal—shared a photo of him on Facebook, writing, “Welcome to the world HTML.”
