- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers, 31-26, to advance to the Super Bowl for the second time in team history, joining the 2002 Buccaneers. Tampa Bay will also become the first team in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium.
- The Buccaneers are the first No. 5 seed in NFL history to defeat a No. 1 seed in a conference championship game.
- In his NFL record 14th conference championship game, QBT om Brady went 20-of-36 for 280 yards and three touchdowns.

- On the game’s opening drive, WR Mike Evans hauled in a 15-yard touchdown pass from Brady to tally his second-career playoff receiving touchdown, tying Keenan McCardell for the most postseason receiving touchdowns in franchise history. He also became the first receiver in team history to record a playoff receiving touchdown in consecutive games.

- WR Scotty Miller hauled in a 39-yard touchdown pass from Brady with one second remaining in the first half to secure his first-career playoff touchdown.
- Following a takeaway on the first possession of the second half by the defense, Brady found TE Cameron Brate for an eight-yard touchdown, the first of Brate’s postseason career.
- With just 34 seconds remaining in the first half, CB Sean Murphy-Bunting picked off Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, leading to Tampa Bay’s last-second touchdown to Miller. Murphy-Bunting joined Pro Football Hall of Famers Aeneas Williams (four-consecutive games) and Ed Reed as well as Jason Sehorn as the only four players in the Super Bowl era with an interception in each of their first three career postseason games. His three postseason interceptions are tied for the most in team history.

- Today’s game marked the first playoff game in which multiple Buccaneers players recorded at least 2.0 sacks in the same game.
- The duo of Barrett and Pierre-Paul combined for all of the team’s 5.0 sacks in the game. The 5.0 sacks on Sunday matched the Buccaneers’ postseason record for a single game.
