When it came to choosing a name for their band, Korn considered being called Larry. That was the name of their manager at the time who told them they could not call their band Korn. Jonathan Davis told Revolver magazine he responded, "'Well, we're gonna name it Larry then,' and he's like, 'F**k you.' I'm like, 'It's gonna be either Larry or Korn. You f**kin' pick.'"
Once they decided on a name, Davis said the logo came about when he grabbed a crayon and wrote Korn with his left hand. He credits them getting their record deal due to the number of stickers with their logo on it that they stuck all over town.
