Earlier this month, a patient in Padua, Italy who desperately needed a new kidney had a match- from a hospital 300 miles away in Rome.
And the police had an answer. They just so happen to have a Lamborghini Huracan they use specifically for rushing organs around the country- it's even fitted with a special refrigerator in the trunk.
So they popped the kidney in the trunk and then drove it the 300 miles in TWO HOURS.
That drive takes about five hours under normal conditions.
The Italian police tweeted quote, "Thanks to our Lamborghini Huracan, [we] delivered a donor kidney for transplant to a person in time."
