Personally, I'm not a fan of the redesign, and it seems the internet isn't either. The hashtag #NotMyToucanSam flooded the comment section on Froot Loops' Instagram.
Some people even tried to redesign the redesign, which were improvements, but why mess with a legend. #BringToucanSamBack
