Stone Temple Pilots will release their first-ever acoustic album, Perdida, on February 10th, 2020.
The band recorded Perdida with a variety of instruments, including flute, alto saxophone, guitarrón, viola, cello and vintage keyboards.
The word "perdida" is Spanish for "loss."
Today marks the fourth anniversary of the death of original STP singer Scott Weiland, who passed away from an overdose of alcohol and drugs at the age of 48.
The first song released, called "Fare Thee Well," is below. The band will launch an acoustic tour in early 2020, but it steers clear of Florida.
