The "Beatles '64" Trailer Is Out

The Beatles have released the trailer for their latest documentary, Beatles ’64, which of course is about their first time in America. Produced by Martin Scorsese and directed by David Tedeschi and featuring never-before-seen footage, it will stream on Disney+ beginning November 29th. The trailer, which you'll find on YouTube, naturally blends archival footage with some new interviews with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as Smokey Robinson, Ronald Isley and the late Ronnie Spector. The film includes rare footage filmed by documentarians Albert and David Maysles, which has been restored in 4K, along with live performances from their first American concert at the Washington, D.C. Coliseum and their appearances on The Ed Sullivan Show.

In other Beatles news, streams of their latest and last song, "Now and Then," have increased following it being nominated last week for two Grammys -- Record of the Year and Best Rock Performance. Billboard reports that it has seen a 42% increase in streams, jumping from 83,000 in the days leading up to the nomination, to over 118,000 after. The Grammy Awards will be handed out on February 2nd at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will air live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
