VIDEO: Another Ohio Train Derailment! This One Caught On Dashcam.

Ohio is dealing with another train derailment. A month after a Norfolk Southern train carrying hazardous materials derailed sparking major environmental and health concerns, folks in Clark County saw it happen again. This one occurred Saturday when 20 mostly empty train cars jumped the tracks. This latest accident also involved a Norfolk Southern train.

Fortunately, there don’t seem to be any safety concerns following what happened this time. During a news conference yesterday, Fire Chief Dave Nangle said that while a HAZMAT team was called to the scene of Saturday's derailment, it was determined there were no toxic chemicals in any of the 20 cars that left the rails. He went on to say that officials with rail company Norfolk Southern were aiding local officials "every step of the way" and provided information on the contents of all the cars involved. No injuries were reported either and Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg says he's been in contact with Governor Mike DeWine.

This comes a month after another Norfolk Southern train carrying hazardous materials derailed sparking major environmental and health concerns in the town of East Palestine. Columbiana County, where the most recent accident happened, and Clark County are about 50 miles apart.
