No one expects Def Leppard’s hit “Pour Some Sugar On Me” when they’re at a Billy Joel concert, but that’s exactly what the crowd got at Comerica Park in Detroit when Joel asked the 37k+ crowd to welcome Joe Elliott to the stage.
Fans were confused, then excited as Elliott and Joel launched into the Leppard song. The show was originally set for July 10, 2020, and was one of the longest-standing bookings on Detroit’s concert calendar after being postponed multiple times during the pandemic.
This isn't the first time the two have rocked the stage together. They did it about 3 years ago too before the Pandemic.
