An aerial stunt failed yesterday evening in Arizona. Pilots Luke Aikins and Andy Farrington had planned to swap planes, each man jumping out of a single-engine plane more than 12-thousand feet above the desert and skydiving to the other aircraft. Farrington made it, but Aikins did not, opening his parachute and landing unhurt.
The uncontrolled plane was equipped with a parachute that deployed before the plane touched the ground.
