Let this be a warning to all of you who don’t pick up after your dog…Benalmadena, Spain is watching you. While vacationing there, a woman…who lives 400 miles away…decided to walk her dog but didn’t bother picking up its poops. That’s not something Benalmadeneans take lying down. Since 2014, Spain has been encouraging pet owners to collect DNA samples from, and microchip, their pets to “help prevent pet abandonment and abuse.”
That tech can also identify mystery poopers I turns out.
The woman was shocked when she found a $570 fine had been sent to her home as punishment for letting dog droppings lie.
