A potential tragedy was avoided in Boise, Idaho - thanks to a quick-thinking heavy metal bassist.
Darin Wall, of the Seattle-based metal band Greyhawk, stopped a potential mass shooting on Sunday night by tackling Ethan Byrd, who was trying to enter the venue with a gun.
Wall says he had "a weird feeling" about Byrd after noticing him pretending to shoot people with 'finger guns' inside. When Byrd retrieved a gun from his car, Wall tackled him and was shot in the thigh during the scuffle.
Thankfully, no one else was hurt and Byrd is now in custody.
