Footage from Wave 3 news in Louisville, Ky., appears to show police shooting pepper rounds directly at news crew. These protests are in reference to another police involved killing in Louisville.
According to the suit, Louisville police executed a ‘no knock’ warrant at the home of Brionna Taylor, who was sleeping in the bedroom with her boyfriend Kenneth Walker. Walker called 911 and allegedly fired at officers thinking it was a break-in. Taylor, who worked as an EMT, was killed when police returned fire.
The lawsuit claims that police, who were investigating a drug ring, entered the wrong home and were searching for a suspect who was already in custody.
