An argument over politics on Facebook apparently led to a shooting in south Tampa.
The Tampa Bay Times reports police arrested 44 year old Brian Sebring. They say he went to the home of 46 year old Alex Stephens after a heated online argument Monday night. He honked his horn and Stephens came outside. Sebring then fired two shots with his Glock when Stephens came outside and charged him. Sebring told officers Stephens had threatened him.
The bullets hit Stephens in the thigh and buttocks.
The nature of their political dispute isn't clear. Sebring is a registered Democrat who follows Barack Obama on twitter. Stephens is a convicted felon. Neither's public pages revealed much about the disagreement.
Jail records show Sebring in custody on $9,500 bond.
