Rams Hand Buccaneers Third Straight Loss

The Los Angeles Rams (9-2) defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-5) 34-7 on Sunday Night Football in Inglewood, California. It was the third consecutive loss for the Buccaneers.

The Rams scored early and often to take a commanding lead in a game that would turn into a blowout. Matthew Stafford went 25-for-35 with 273 yards and three touchdowns to lead the way for the Rams.

Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield suffered a shoulder sprain after taking a hit on an interception on the very last play of the second quarter and did not return. After the game head coach Todd Bowles said that Mayfield would have an MRI on Monday and did not offer a timetable for his return. Teddy Bridgewater played the second half and went 8-for-15 with 62 yards passing in the second half.

The Buccaneers look to snap their losing skid when they return home to host the Arizona Cardinals next Sunday. Kickoff between the Buccaneers and Cardinals is scheduled for 1:00 PM on November 30th - you can hear the game on 97.9 WXTB-FM - The Mighty 98 Rock.
