The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7) defeated the Atlanta Falcons (6-7) 29-25 on Sunday afternoon in Atlanta. The win lifts the Buccaneers into a three-way tie in the NFC South with the Falcons and New Orleans Saints.
The Buccaneers built a 19-10 lead in the third quarter before Atlanta rallied in the fourth quarter. They took a 25-22 lead over Tampa Bay with 3:23 to go in the game. The Buccaneers engineered a game-winning drive that culminated in Baker Mayfield hitting Cade Otton for an 11-yard TD with thirty-one seconds to go to take the game from Atlanta.
Mayfield went 14-for-29 with 144 yards, two touchdowns and no interception against the win. Rachaad White also had a tremendous day, rushing for 102 yards on 25 carries - he added a touchdown reception as well.
The Buccaneers now head on the road next week when they travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers. Kickoff from Lambeau Field is scheduled for 1:00 PM - you can hear the game on 97.9 WXTB-FM - The Mighty 98 Rock.
