South Florida Lawmaker Sponsors COVID-19 Effect On Schools Bill

The Senate Education Committee considering a bill sponsored by a South Florida lawmaker looking at the the COVID-19 effect on schools. State Senator Perry Thurston of Ft. Lauderdale believes standardized tests should be taken this year, but not counted. Students are required to take the FSA in-person, even if they have been learning remotely. The tests will take place in April and May.
