The Lightning Have Left The Building, Headed For Cup Playoffs!

After MONTHS of uncertainty, the Lightning will finally get their chance to fix the wrong of last seasons 1 and done postseason debacle. Crazy enough they are headed back to the last city we played a game in, Toronto.

The teams will all play within a bubble of containment through the Stanley Cup finals. Just like when they were youth travel players they'll be taking over hotels and locking down until they are done. The only thing missing will be the parents getting hammered in the hotel lobby until the wee hours of the morning just before their kids 5AM game.

As far as Victor Hedman not being on the team flight here is what our GM had to say: "Victor Hedman won't be on [the team] flight," BriseBois said. "He came to me and asked if we could grant him a few more days in Tampa to tend to a personal matter. We've worked out a protocol for him to be able to do that. He's going to stay back in Tampa this week with Marc Lambert, our director of sports performance.
