Marilyn Manson Has Been Cast In Stephen King's 'The Stand'

Marilyn Manson has scored himself a new gig: a role in the upcoming limited series based on Stephen King's 1978 novel The Stand.

Speaking with Revolver, Manson didn't specifiy which character he'd be playing, but added that he and Shooter Jennings have recorded a new version of the Doors song "The End" for the series. They're also working on Jennings new album and have previously recoded a David Bowie cover- hear it below.

The Stand focuses on a battle between good and evil waged by the survivors of a plague that wipes out 99 percent of the world's population. James Marsden, Amber Heard, Whoopi Goldberg,Greg Kinnear and others are rumored to be joining the cast.
