I recently started following Adriana Marie and watching how she handles more dangerous fans that follow her. Adriana is a pro shark diver and she says that you should never splash and run away from a shark because it makes you look like prey. If you do the shark will continue to follow you. Her advice is to instead turn and make eye contact...use your fins (If you have fins on) to create space, and as a last resort push down hard on the top of their head. You get all of that? Yup me too...as soon as I poop in my wet suit I'll get right on it Adriana. She did follow all of this up with a disclaimer saying do not attempt this "I am a professional shark diver".
