Pearl Jam Announces Dark Matter Tour

Pearl Jam are taking their album "Dark Matter" on the road for a U.S. tour next year. The trek kicks off in Hollywood, Florida on April 24th. From there, the band will hit Atlanta, Nashville, and Ralei before wrapping things up in Pittsburg on May 18th. General public tickets will be available through Ticketmaster's "Artist Presale." It's open to anyone who signs up before 10 a.m. Pacific Time on December 10th.

Guns N' Roses Announces World Tour

Guns N' Roses are announcing a world tour whose title is almost longer than the tour itself. The "Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things" tour opens on May 23rd in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. G-N-R will play four nights later in Abu Dhabi, before heading to Europe for the remainder of the tour. Opening acts will alternate between Public Enemy, Rival Sons and Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter. They'll wrap up their tour of stadium and arena shows July 24th in Vienna, and then headline two festivals the final week of July. Guns 'N Roses will headline the Luxembourg Open Air Festival on July 28th and the Wacken Open Air Festival in Germany on the 31st. Tickets are on sale now through Guns N' Roses' Nightrain fan club.

Rick Wakeman Announces Additional Dates To U.S. Farewell Tour

It's so hard to say good-bye, which is why yet another act is announcing additional dates to a farewell tour. Rick Wakeman, who wrapped up the second leg of his "Return of the Caped Crusader" tour last month, has new dates scheduled in March and April. Wakeman's extended tour kicks off March 27th in Vienna, Virginia

and wraps up in Peekskill, New York on April 17th. He'll also perform on the "Cruise to the Edge," which sets sail from Miami April 4th through the 9th. Robert Fripp, Steve Hackett and Saga are among the couple dozen acts scheduled to perform on the cruise.
