11 YEAR OLD Charged With 20 "Swatting" Calls Made To Florida Schools

The Flagler County Sherriff made note of the child escalating behavior:

“This kid’s behavior was escalating and becoming more dangerous," Staly said. “I’m glad we got him before he escalated out of control and hurt someone.”

He was phoning in both shooting and bomb threats to schools around the state from Virginia. "Swatting" means making a prank call to emergency services in an attempt to send a SWAT team or other armed police officers to a particular place. He was not only targeting Florida. He faces a total of 29 felony counts and 14 misdemeanors . He is in custody and awaiting an extradition to Florida now.

In addition to Florida, he was also targeting Maryland State House, Nebraska, Kansas, Alabama, Tennessee and Alaska.

There's been no word as to if the boy has connections in any of these states.
