The guy was trying to drown the poor bear. The bear was old with health conditions and known to be friendly with humans. After the incident the bear was in so much distress that it was weeping by the wall and wouldn't react to anything. Guy was charged with animal cruelty.
How about shooting the human for once...sheesh!
