It's official, I've time traveled back to my childhood. I blame OfferUp, Harbor Freight and my girlfriend.
It all started a few years back. My gf and I were walking through the auto department of a Sears store. I noticed a small red "Doodlebug" minibike for sale and gushed for a moment about how much my brothers and I used to love our little pull-start toys. The very next Christmas, there was one under the tree.
Keep in mind, I'm 6'2"/215 pounds. That poor little 97cc engine never had a chance long-term. It gave out after just a few months.
That's about when I showed my gf an ad for the Predator 212cc engine available at Harbor Freight tools. "They're putting these on minibikes", I giggled. I watched countless videos of the modified minibikes doing wheelies and burnouts.
Yep, next Christmas...Predator engine under tree. lol
After some creative engineering and a bigger clutch, we finished the beast.
It is by far the coolest toy I've had in years. That's counting Corvettes, turbocharged Hayabusas and various firearms. I can't even explain to you how much you need a minibike!
I now have three.
