NASA Unveils Artemis 'Moon Suit' [PHOTOS]

NASA unveiled the design for a new spacesuit that astronauts will wear when they return to the lunar surface.

Unlike previous designs, the Artemis III Moon Suit ditches the traditional white for a sleek black design with orange and blue trim.

The suit is designed by Axiom Space and will allow for greater flexibility and better protection.

The cover layer was designed by Esther Marquis, the costume designer from the Apple TV+ series For All Mankind.
Through Artemis, NASA will land the first woman and the first person of color on the Moon, paving the way for a long-term, sustainable lunar presence to explore more of the lunar surface than ever before and prepare for future astronaut missions to Mars. (NASA)

NASA aims to send humans to the lunar South Pole by December 2025.
