Fort Lauderdale City Workers Suffer COVID-19 Outbreak

Some Fort Lauderdale cops, city information technology workers, and the city manager have one thing in common -- a positive test for COVID-19.

City hall is dealing with an outbreak of the virus, but at the point, no one is hospitalized with the virus. 12 city employees have tested positive including City Manager Chris Lagerbloom and some of his employees.

Mayor Dean Trantalis has had contact with some of those infected people, but the mayor himself has tested negative.
