Out with the old and in with the new when it comes to the mayor in Broward County. After a year at the helm, outgoing Broward Mayor Mark Bogan passes the title to Vice Mayor Dale Holness elected unanimously by his peers as the next mayor. He says he will lead with the goal of "Building One Broward" where residents move forward together with prosperity for all. Holness says he will focus on affordable housing and healthcare and helping the homeless. Commissioner Steve Geller is unanimously elected as the new Vice Mayor.
