Man In Connection With Amber Alert Found In Florida Keys

UPDATE: A man initially named as a person of interest in an Amber Alert this morning out of Ocala is in a Miami hospital after a bizarre string of events in the Keys.

Marion County Sheriff's Office detectives say after murdering the 11-month-old's mother, Deangelo Clark dropped the baby off with family members.

He then apparently made his way to the Florida Keys where he was accused of robbing a Long Key home at about 10am.

A short time later 9-1-1 calls reported a car explosion that caught a Grassy Key home on fire, and a man was injured.

It was Clark.

He has burns to his arms.

Middle Keys Detective Mario Benedetti joined suspect Deangelo Leandrew Shelton Clark in the Trauma Star flight to Miami and will be serving him with a the warrant for the murder of 20-year-old Kiara Alleyne who was found dead in her Ocala home earlier Wednesday morning by Marion County Sheriff’s Office Deputies.

EARLIER: An Amber Alert was canceled Wednesday morning not long after it was issued.

The alert was issued for 11-month old Jhene Clark who had last been seen near her home in Ocala, but the Marion County Sheriff's Office says the baby was dropped off with relatives by 30-year old Deangelo Clark. Those family members brought the baby to the Sheriff's Office.

Meanwhile, sheriff's officials say Jhene's mother, 20-year old Kiara Alleyene was found dead inside her home.

Deputies received a call early Wednesday from a family member who was concerned for the woman's safety.

They received information indicating that Deangelo Clark had planned to commit a murder-suicide. When deputies responded to the scene, they found the man and the baby gone and the woman dead.

Clark is considered armed and dangerous and may be driving a black 2008 Mazda CX7 with a North Dakota license plate number 328-APC.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to call 911 and not to approach Clark.
