Have you ever been visited by a passed loved one in the form of an animal? Dave Grohl has. He says he was visited on Tuesday afternoon by Taylor Hawkins as a HAWK.
He told the crowd at Tuesday night's Foo Fighters show near San Francisco, quote, "This is a true [effing] story . . . Today we're standing on this balcony overlooking the San Fernando Valley . . .
"And this hawk flies by, and I'm watching it as it flies . . . I swear that [effing] thing turned to me and laughed. I swear to God."
The band then dedicated their performance of "Aurora" to Taylor. It was his favorite Foo Fighters song. Vintage performance vid of "Aurora" below.
