Study: Exercise Can Reduce Breast Cancer Risk By 41%

A study of 131,000 women suggests that women who exercise more than average reduce their risk of breast cancer by 41%. Researchers claim exercise keeps hormones in balance and lowers body weight.

“More widespread adoption of active lifestyles may reduce the burden from the most common cancer in women," authors wrote in the British Journal of Sports Medicine. The NHS suggests all adults should do at least two-and-a-half hours of exercise per week.

Doctors recommend seeing your general practitioner if you notice any unusual changes in your breasts.
