You've Heard of Red Flags, But What Are Beige Flags?

Ever been on a date with someone sooooooo BORING, you’ve seriously considered running right there and then? That’s a beige flag, and chances are, you missed the beige flags along the way.

Compared to red flags, which indicate a potential partner might be toxic, beige flags are more benign: Beige flags are essentially warning signs the person you’re dating is BORING.

Some of the beige flag warning signs include: boring profile, generic profile information, unoriginal phrases you've seen a thousand times, etc.

According to the creator of beige flags Caitlin MacPhail: “If someone has a lot of beige flags on their profile, you’ll probably get to the end of it without having really learnt anything about them.”
