9,000 Florida teaching positions open with less than two weeks until school start
With just 2 weeks left until school starts back up Florida is staring down the barrel of a massive teacher shortage.
According to the Florida Education Association a total of 9,000 positions remain vacant. Hillsborough county is suffering more than most with 1,400 openings vacant which include around 700 Teaching positions.
The First day of school is August 10th.
